The holidays can begin to feel overwhelming as the season approaches, so here are so FUN ideas on how to celebrate and make this year extra special!
DRESS UP for Christmas Eve!
Last year, especially with dealing with all the Covid craze, I decided it would be fun to dress up for Christmas Eve. I ordered sparkly dresses for my girls, and they felt super special and princess-like. Even though we celebrated at home, it still made us feel special and who doesn’t love getting glammed up for a day? Remember to assign someone to take pictures throughout the holiday. Especially, if you have young children. These are precious memories that you do not want to miss out on.
Create a Breakfast Bar on Christmas Day
This was my favorite part of last year’s Christmas. I made and purchased a ton of breakfast foods and arranged it in the center of our Kitchen or easy access for our guests. It allows your guests to not feel uncomfortable about going back for more food and they eat as they are ready. Less work for the hostess when it comes to serving, and more comfortable for the guests. Win. Win.
Set up a Cozy Home for Christmas Morning
Wake up before everyone else. Start the coffee, hot water, hot chocolate, whatever you and your family prefer to drink.
Light a candle: I prefer unscented or a light Balsam scent
Make sure the tree is lit.
Take a moment for yourself to remember what the holidays are really about. Celebration with your loved ones. Making beautiful memories that will be cherished forever.
These tips will allow for a smooth and memorable holiday celebration! This time of year can be so hectic. Let’s remind ourselves that it is not about perfection and to just enjoy the process of making the day fun!
